My work
This page is for my previous work, information about my roles and some behind the scenes about each track
MVP - Dance
This version of the song was mixed and mastered by me as well ass the creation of the guitar tone.
This track is used with permission by MVP and URM Academy. The original production and mix were done by Joel Wanasek and Dan Malsch. This new mix is an unofficial version and not on the actual release.
Kenton Bryant - John Wayne
I chose this song to showcase my ability and like for other genres, for this version of the song was mixed and mastered by me with permission from Billy Decker, the artist and URM Academy. This is a demo song from Kenton Bryant originally mixed by Billy Decker at The Cabin at Westwood, Nashville, TN.
Reagan Ralph - Pulse Pt2
This song is on of my favourites from Reagan Ralph's third album "Yokai" and was the second single from it. A lot of blood, sweat, tears, and love went into the making of this album from both me and Reagan who I worked with closely in the making of this after working on his first album and other projects as well. My roles on this album where: Producer (including ReAmping/tone creation), Post Production (including some orchestration), Editing, Mixing and Mastering engineer whilst Reagan wrote, played, and engineered the rest himself.

This whole album was done remotely which came with its own challenges (ie getting the right sound for the programmed drums and the tones for the guitars) but overall we got it sounding the way we wanted. This song in particular is a favourite of mine with the heavy riffs and anthem-like ending.
Emeline - Spirits (Ft. Summer King)
Released in January 2021 this was a one off single done during lockdown after the success of the Adore EP featuring Brighton based singer Sumer King. This was all self recorded by the band with me giving advice then edited and helped shape the sound scape as I mixed/mastered the song. It came with a few issues and work arounds needed being that it was an entirely new situation the world was in and it had to be done fully remotely so there wasn't access to the most ideal recording spaces and with that in mind they ended up recording the acoustic as a clean electric. Overall it came out pretty well and a bit of work wse could all be proud of.
Yesterday's Gone - Break Me
This was the first single off of Yesterday's Gone's "Set in Stone" EP which I mixed and mastered for them as my second ever project to get an official release. This was recorded and produced by Nic Rudd of Mammoth Recordings and then the band came to me to finish up the track which was a lot of fun as it's a rather fun song.
The Year - Bastion
My roles on this version of the song was Reamping, mixing and mastering.

This track is used with permission by The Year and URM Academy. The original production was done by Tiago Candas and Rodolfo Jaca, mix was done by Tiago Canadas. This new mix is an unofficial version and not on the actual release
Reagan Ralph - Circle
This song is one of my favourites from Reagan Ralphs debut album "Scarlet Rain" which was also my first time working with him on his solo project. This album was a learning process as not only was it my first time producing a full length album but also my first time using programmed drums as the main drum sound of a record I produced. Overall we got it sounding as good as we could get at the time with the drums and also the song once we added a few extra layers of atmospheric sounds to help the soundscape and vibe of the song.
Emeline - Chinese Whispers
This song was the last released song that I worked with the band on which was released in October 2021. This was Coproduced by me and the band themselves, the drums and bass were engineered by the band at City College Plymouth during one of the lockdowns, the guitars were recorded as DI and sent to me for reamping which was done over zoom, and the vocals were engineered by me in a bedroom. The song was also edited, mixed and mastered by me.

A lot of thought and effort went into this track to get across the right emotion and feeling which we worked on for several months including rerecording a few things at different points and adding extra layers to make sure it fitted the vibe.
Reagan Ralph - Gluttony and The Miser
(Ft. Oren Ford)
This song is also from Reagan Ralph's third album "Yokai" and is featuring Oren Ford (myself) on bass guitar. As before my roles on this album where: Producer (including ReAmping/tone creation), Post Production (including some orchestration), Editing, Mixing and Mastering engineer however on this track I also wrote and performed the bass whilst Reagan did the rest himself.

This song was a lot of fun to do as it's rare I get to play my main instrument on one of the tracks I've produced and it was nice to challenge myself writing a bassline to everything else as the track was fully written by the time it got to me so I had to find the right space to make it work.
Emeline - Adore
This is the title track and first single off of the Adore EP. This was a stripped back version of the original song and was played on BBC radio introducing when it was first released.

This was my first time working with the band and was recorded by the band then sent off to me to be mixed and mastered. There were a few difficulties due to being recorded fully during Lockdown in less than ideal rooms as well as having to record an electric guitar over an acoustic but we made it work and got a result that both myself and the band were happy with.

Reagan Ralph - Chronostasis
Here's another song from Reagan Ralph's third album "Yokai". As before my roles on this album where: Producer (including ReAmping/tone creation), Post Production (including some orchestration), Editing, Mixing and Mastering engineer whilst Reagan did the rest himself.

This song was difficult one to get right at first due to being so densely arranged as Reagan wanted a full symphonic sound out of it so we ended up adding a full orchestral section as well as a few synth parts to add to the sound whilst also keeping to the death metal inspirations for the album so almost to create a wall of sound between that and the guitars.
